Filled With Power
4/5/26-5/23/26
Overview
The story of the Church continues in power. From Stephen’s final breath to Paul’s final voyage, the Spirit fills ordinary people with extraordinary grace. What begins as fire at Pentecost becomes a movement of courage, conviction and costly love. Through Acts and Romans, the Church learns that power without unity is noise and faith without love is hollow. Each week reveals how divine strength is always paired with humble dependence — the Spirit who fills also binds, the gospel that frees also unites. To be the Church is to live Spirit-empowered, gospel-shaped and love-rooted.

Scripture Memory
February 15 - April 4, 2026: Psalm 51:1–4 (ESV)
[1] Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.
[2] Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!
[3] For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.
[4] Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment.
April 5 - May 2, 2026: Romans 8:2–6 (ESV)
[2] For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
[3] For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,
[4] in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
[5] For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
[6] For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
Spiritual Movement
Pentecost → Power - The Spirit fills believers to bear witness to Christ.
Faith → Freedom - Justification by faith opens the way to new life in grace.
Transformation → Unity - Changed hearts form a reconciled community.
Harmony → Mission - A Church at peace becomes a Church in motion.
Core Truth
To Be the Church — Filled with Power is to live dependent on the Spirit, justified by faith, renewed by grace and bound together in love.
Power without humility divides; love without power fades.
But when both dwell together, the Church becomes a living testimony of the risen Christ.
At the close of Week 20, pause and look back:
- Where has the Spirit shown His strength in your weakness?
- How has faith freed you from the weight of proving yourself?
- Where is God inviting you to live in greater harmony — with Him, with others, within yourself?
Write one prayer beginning with: “Spirit of Christ, fill me with Your power and teach me to love…”
Let this become your benediction before stepping into the next season of wisdom and formation.
